I haven't had a great year, in fact it has been horrible.
The friend monster has taken some friends away from me,
this is not quite where I thought I'd be today.
My hair is still short, those blush pink shoes still haven't gone on sale,
(Im a size 8/8.5 if you are wondering ;))
I still dont have that dream job,lets not even begin with the dream man.
Dear Lord, nothing seems to be going right!
But, I'm not here to complain.
What I really want to say is thank you.
Im grateful for the horrible year that just went by,
because it means I have lived to see another one.
I am grateful for the friends I have lost,
because I've gained some invaluable ones in the last year.
I am grateful for where I am in my life,
because I know you are taking me somewhere.
I am grateful for the job that you are preparing for me
because I know you are in total control.
I have 2 hands, 2 legs, 2 eyes, 2 ears all working!
I have a mummy and daddy complete, and all my siblings are in one piece!
Dear Lord, I really dont mean to complain.
All I want to say is Thank you.
