Ever met a guy that was perfect for you?
On paper that is.
In theory, he could easily be the man of your dreams.
But not in reality.
In reality, you find that there is something missing.
Something...vital.
You can't put your finger on it,
but you know 'it' is missing.
Do you know what I mean?
For example, imagine being insanely attracted to someone.
Emotionally, you are in sync.
But thats not all, on top of the physical attraction,
your minds connect....intellectually.
Now imagine what it would be like to be intimately connected to someone like that?
Do you now see what I mean?
Im not talking about the innocence of first love here.
Im talking about the kind where two people
that have matured with experience (not age)
are meeting on the same level where they can be bound together.
(yes, bound because it is that deep)
I mean wouldn't you want to give yourself to that person?
Wholly and completely?
Yea, thats the kind of love I'm talking about.
Its goes beyond just being physically attracted to someone.
Its beyond just knowing that that girl, will make a good wife.
Its beyond whether or not I have child bearing hips.
Its much more than that.
Waaay more than that.
I've been trying to explain this to someone,
but its like .... pulling teeth.
How do yo begin to quantify this in ONE word?
Is there even a word for it?
Do you feel me?
Or am I lost in my bubble needing to be rescued?

Yeah I get it. As an older person told me this "it" that your generation can't even define is what puts you in trouble lol
isn't that what the 'soulmate' word refers too? Or is it just too cliche? I get u tho.... huuummmm! deep.
I'm getting you and most people think that you should easily dismiss that and look at the fact that the other things are perfect...i wish they would understand that "it" is the thing that draws you to someone, even when everything else isn't right ...

Connecting at that level is something everyone prays for, that feeling were you know...you just know that you both love each other beyond your hearts but down to your souls...and you know that s/he hasnt come to take, s/he has come to restore. And the experiences of the past makes both of you...just right for each other. Not perfect...but just right.
There must be a reason why this eludes even the best of us.

He had said that he wishes we met a long time ago. and my reply was that this timing is perfect. I have matured with experience and so has he (yada yada yada)
'It' is real and it exists.

This is a deep one, very meaningful. Truth is, "IT" is one of those things...you can only know it when you see or feel it.
and it's most intriguing because it isn't one thing and it could differ from person to person.
But, only the gut can find it! Only the gut...

I dont know, i can imagine the scenario, connecting with someone on every plane possible and yet there being something wrong...in my case lol its he's already attached darn. That 'something being wrong in my case' almost makes me feel like although i've grasped some of what you mean I havent grasped the full thing. your something wrong seems like something much deeper than 'unavailable'.
